PTT Training Courses are one day in duration (10:00am to 5:30pm).
The PTT courses are only open to those that have successfully completed an AAMET approved Level 2 course or above or (in the opinion of Phoenix EFT) have sufficient knowledge gained elsewhere that this can be waived.. Participants are welcome irrespective of where they have received their previous training provided they possess a Level 2 certificate awarded by a recognised trainer Please note that these cases are assessed on an individual basis.
An Attendance Certificate will be issued at the end of all Picture Tapping Technique training courses.
PTT Courses are designed to be interactive and “Hands On”. Students get to practice and gain experience by working with each others issues.
A comprehensive Course Manual is given to all students as a reference document. All the course material is included in the manual.
After the training, there is the option to take the PTT Practitioner Test.
In order to become a PTT Practitioner and list yourself on the PTT website as a practitioner there is a test and case-study requirement that has to be passed.
The PTT test is designed to test understanding of the process and the ability to deliver it in practice. This test has had to be introduced in order to avoid those who we do not competent in the technique adding their names to the professional listing on the PTT website.
Please note that passing this test is required if you wish to add your name to the PTT Practitioner Listing. You will also receive a PTT Practitioner Certificate.
There is a £30 (About US$48) marking fee for this test, which can be paid upon submission of the first part of the test or the first case study. If students want to submit their first case study, and get feedback on that before submitting the remainder, that is perfectly acceptable. Many find this useful so that they know if they are giving enough detail etc.
The only other possible expense is for an “Enhanced” listing on the PTT website. The basic practitioner listing is free, but if you want to add your picture and website, and extended details then there is a £10 (about US$16) fee for that. That is a one-off setup payment.

Prospective PTT Trainers must already have attained AAMET EFT Trainer level qualification. Other equivalent EFT Trainer qualifications may be considered at the discretion of Phoenix EFT.
Trainers must be appropriately insured to deliver training sessions. Note that this insurance is required whether or not it is a legal requirement at the training location. It is understood that some countries around the world it is not possible to gain this type of insurance. In such cases this requirement may be waived.
Trainers must have attended and paid for at least one PTT training day with Phoenix EFT, have gained some experience with using PTT in practice, have attended and assisted with at least 2 repeat PTT training sessions and have successfully passed a test of theoretical knowledge of PTT before being awarded PTT Trainer certification.
Trainers must successfully take and pass the PTT Trainers Examination and pay the Trainers marking and certification fee. Details available on request.
If the initial training in PTT was with a Trainer other than Phoenix EFT then at least one of the repeat trainings must be done with Phoenix EFT. This repeat will be charged at 50% of the normal fee for the training.
Upon gaining certification as a PTT Trainer, trainers must attend at least 2 group or one to one mentoring sessions per year with Phoenix EFT following commencement of training in PTT. These will be charged at a low cost and are intended as a way to share experiences, discuss any problems encountered and any developments of PTT as they occur. They may be in person or by Skype or telephone. Suitable dates will be arranged as required. These mentoring sessions may form a part of your annual Mentoring requirement with the AAMET or other organization.
The EFT Training courses are detailed on our Phoenix EFT Training website.
The EFT courses are designed for people with a range of skills, from absolute beginner to the practicing professional who wants to increase their range of skills. Please note that once you have paid for a level of training you are welcome to repeat that level as many times as you want free of charge provided we have spaces available on the course. This is a very popular option for students wanting more experience or a refresher before taking the next level of training.
EFT Level 1 – A 2 day course that is suitable for complete beginners or those with a limited knowledge of the technique. This course will teach you the basic technique, how to apply it and give you a good understanding of possible pitfalls and how to avoid them. You will be able to treat yourself, your family, friends or clients and achieve quite astonishing results. Watch their emotional issues collapse and see them achieve a brighter outlook on life. - More Details
EFT Level 2 – More in depth training with advanced techniques.
EFT Level 2 is minimum level required to gain Practitioner Status. The 2 day traing course is followed by a Multiple Choice Test plus case studies to acieve the status of EFT Practitioner. Once this level has been reached, you can gain insurance and begin to practice EFT Professionally.
EFT Level 3 - Further development of ideas and techniques.
Up until recently there is little or no structure within Level 3 training and individual trainers have included whichever topics they thought were appropriate for the group being taught. The AAMET is the Professional Association that sets the standards for EFT Training has introduced a core curriculum for all levels of training including Level 3. The syllabus which we are currently using at Level 3 includes those topics which are to be included in the core curriculum plus other relevant areas of interest.
Training at Level 3 is always a peer group experience as well as a training course. We will give you new information to absorb, but also you are expected to contribute greatly from your own experiences and viewpoint. The synergistic effect of practitioners working together and discussing results can lead to remarkable insights and ideas about where to go next in a difficult case. There is also considerable advantage to be gained from the opportunity to network and meet and get to know other practitioners.
Mentoring Days: Open to those qualified to EFT Levels 2 and 3.
Mentoring: Under the AAMET Guidelines, Practitioners (including Trainers and Trainers of Trainers) who are seeing clients one-to-one or in groups (or training groups) are required to have an absolute minimum of at least six hours one-to-one Mentoring each year with a colleague practising at the same, or preferably a higher, EFT level, or at least twelve hours Mentoring with a group of colleagues, again practicing at the same or preferably a higher EFT level, or a combination of the two.
We offer phone or in person mentoring to all of our students. Individual mentoring sessions may be arranged by appointment and we also hold up to 4 Group mentoring days per year which are open to level 2 and 3 students who wish to expand their understanding and experience
Courses for Groups and Organisations - Phoenix EFT are able to give talks/demonstrations or complete training sessions to Level 1, 2 or 3 for groups throughout the UK.
We are able to tailor the content to be of value to your specialised group. Examples are Therapists, Medical Staff, support groups for specific psychological or medical conditions, sales teams, work-related teams, athletics and sports clubs.
